Description
Neusoft Medical photon-counting CT (PCCT) is a next-generation computed tomography scanner built around a self-developed cadmium zinc telluride (CZT) semiconductor detector. Instead of converting X-rays into visible light before detection, it counts individual X-ray photons directly, removing the secondary conversion step that causes signal loss and electronic noise in conventional CT.
